I was working on a list of mission trip songs, and although I found a video with this song, I couldn't find the lyrics online anywhere. I was first given a recording of this song on a mission trip while serving at the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.

Inpulse Video

Inpulse, an acapella group from Minneapolis, covers the Beatle's "Come Together" and has a vocal percussion battle at Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. This is from a concert last night (October 1, 2010), in Marty's at Luther. Sorry for the giant pillar in the way...I recorded them because (a) they were really good, and (b) I wanted to test the video camera on my new 4th generation iPod Touch.

Interview with Tait, Duncan from Newsboys

Here's an interview from newreleasetuesday.com with Michael Tait and Duncan Phillips of the Newsboys discussing Tait being the new lead singer for Newsboys. I think I'm still in shock over the whole thing...but I'm also really excited to hear the new incarnation of the Newsboys. Oh...and I like the name NewsTalk...not that I want them to change their name or anything...but it does have a certain ring to it...

Domestic Violence Music Video

For my Luther College J-Term class, "Crisis Intervention: Interpersonal Violence" I made a music video on domestic violence and rape to Superchic[k]'s "Bowling Ball" and "Stand in the Rain" songs. I think this turned out very well. Filmed at Luther College and Oneota Lanes. Starring Liz Knight and Aaron Rosell, who wish to point out that they do not actually beat each other.
